Halloween Favorites...

These are just a few of my favorites from Halloween.  I love these two crazy kids so much.  We're gearing up for a big Pinkalicious party for Kiley's 3rd birthday tomorrow.  I'm going to try to keep up the momentum for the blog posts, but I can't make any promises.

Pumpkin Patch

I know I haven't posted in forever, here's my favorite from our recent trip to the pumpkin patch.  

Princess Party...

Dear Cole,
I love this picture so much it hurts my heart.  On this day Kiley begged you to play princess party with her, and you obliged.  Then she begged you to put on the Aurora dress so you would be a "real princess" like her.  You kind of rolled your eyes, but then did it.  And I know you did it not because you wanted to wear a princess dress around the house, but because you knew it would make her happy.  You are the most phenomenal big brother she could ever ask for.  It is amazing to watch you turn into such a caring and compassionate young man.

Easter Cuties...

Here's a few of the kids that I took while we were waiting for everyone to arrive. I think the back porch might be my new favorite photo spot.

I have so many pictures to share from the last few weeks. We've been so busy enjoying the beautiful weather that I haven't had time to blog. But I'll try to be better because I have tons of pics from our family adventures.

A Very Merry Christmas...

We had a wonderful Christmas today. The kids awoke to find out that Santa had dropped off some toys and filled our stockings. Santa brought Cole some Toy Story Lego sets and Kiley got a doll bed and some new babies.

A few pictures we took tonight after building gingerbread houses and before loading up to go and see some Christmas lights.

Pumpkins...

We took a hay ride out to a pumpkin patch with just our small group. The kids got to run around and pick out their pumpkins. Then, before we got back on our hay ride to go back to the farm they CLEANED OUT OUR PUMPKINS FOR US! Oh, you read that right. Jonathan and I decided then and there that we were going to this farm every year from now on.

Bunker Hill (part 2)...

Since the light was just wonderful and the kids were having fun running around in the grass I was able to get some good pictures of them while we were visiting Bunker Hill.

Orlando Science Center...

Later in our spring break week we met up with Shana & her family at the Orlando Science Center. Holy awesome science center, batman! It was fantastic. The kids had so much fun and I'm sure we'll be back.

Today I am 35. Which feels old. Much older than 30. I took this picture last week because I wanted to take a second to capture what 35 looks like. Two little monkeys on my lap. Hanging out around the house. Wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Pretty much the status quo around here. But things are not really status quo around here. We've sold our house and are moving asap. I'm busy packing and we're working to find a builder that we like so that we can break ground on our lot at the beach. In the mean time we'll be renting an apartment. With a pool. Actually, with 2 pools. So I guess you could say that 35 is off to a pretty good start.

I found this little gem hiding in our pictures from the zoo. I had given Cole the little camera to take some pictures and we used the self timer for this one.

Kids on the Beach...

Here's one of the kids at the beach. Look at those chunky legs on Kiley. I could just eat her up.

A few more from Tree Hill. As you can see, my attempts to get a good picture of the two of them together is futile now that Kiley can run away.

Tree Hill...

I took the kids out to Tree Hill Nature Center last month and took a few cute pictures of the two of them. We had a great time hiking around on the trails and eating our snack out in the woods.

More beach...

The best way to walk to the beach... bike trailer. The wide wheels make it great to push right on the sand.
