Family Pictures...

While my friend Kristi was visiting we did a little family photo shoot out at the beach.  I'm holding off on sharing the good pics of all of us because I may end up using one as our Christmas card.  But here's my absolute favorite from the shoot.  Kiley and I together, and a cautionary tale to not sit too close to the water when trying to get a group shot.  The waves rushed in and everyone jumped up (and off my lap) and left me sitting there.  Nice.

Mother's Day...

Mother's Day around here was just lovely.  I was showered with gifts and cards and flowers.  We went out for breakfast at one of our favorite places and then took our first swim of the season over at Ali's house.  It was just a perfect day all around.

Pool Pics...

Here are a few more pool favorites. I love what a total water baby Kiley is. Her favorite thing to do these days is stand on the steps or side of the pool and say "one, two, ready, go" and then jump in the water.

I found this little gem hiding in our pictures from the zoo. I had given Cole the little camera to take some pictures and we used the self timer for this one.

The Moss Monster...

I have just 2 final pictures from our awesome camping trip. The first is Cole & Will with Papa and the Moss Monster. The second is a self portrait I took of Kiley and I. I bought a backpack to carry her in for our hikes. It was awesome. She loved it and it was much easier to keep track of her when we were out in the woods.

Kiley's First Birthday...

It's really hard to believe that Kiley turned 1 a month ago. We had a family dinner at Sweet Tomatoes since we had already celebrated at the Carnival Birthday Party a while back.

Mother's Day...

Every year on Mother's Day I have Jonathan take a picture of me with our kid(s). I have an album I keep them all in. Here we all are this year.

Plane Travel...

Cole absolutely LOVED traveling on the plane to Chicago. He has flown before, about 2 years ago when we went to Chicago for vacation, but I'm sure he doesn't remember. He did great looking out the window, eating snacks and playing on my iPhone.

Gingerbread House...

On Christmas Eve Cole & Mommy decorated a Gingerbread House. The house was assembled the night before using a glue gun. And for anyone out there that thinks it's horrible that I used a glue gun you've obviously never had to hold the walls of a gingerbread house together while you waited for the icing to "glue" it, while explaining to a 1 year old why he can't just put the sprinkles on it already. Cole did a fantastic job decorating the house and I think he even got more candy on the roof than in his mouth!
