A few days before Halloween Cole's class went trick-or-treating on the JU campus and then entertained the parents with some songs they had been practicing. I blured the faces on the kids in the class so I could share how cute they were all. We took some great video of them singing, but I can't post that because it has all the kids in it!
This year we went trick-or-treating with Will and our friends Riley and Gracey. It got dark very fast and it was difficult for me to keep up being 9+ months pregnant, but we had fun anyways.
She's here! Kiley Jean Beckham born on November 3rd at 1:14pm. Weighing in at 9lbs and 4oz and measuring 21.5 inches long. We are all home now and doing great. Kiley already appears to be a more laid back baby than Cole was and Cole is so in love with his new sister he is beside himself. I have tons and tons of pictures to start posting but it will probably take a few days to get through them. In the meantime you may see a few more Halloween posts because I had those all scheduled and ready to go when she was scheduled to arrive on the 6th.
This year Cole went as a penguin for Halloween. He loved this costume and if it hadn't been 86 degrees out on Halloween he probably would have worn it all day.
This is what I have to work with. Cole was hiding inside his IKEA shelving the other day. What's really funny is that I made him stay in there so I could run and grab the camera.
I'll post some pictures of Cole in his costume in the next few days, but for now here are some pictures of Cole & Jonathan at the pumpkin patch, sitting on the same haystack over the last 4 years.
Had a great visit to the pumpkin patch. Came away with a big pumpkin and a little one for Cole to keep in his room. I love the pictures of him just wandering around looking for the perfect pumpkin.
On Saturday we went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. It was hot and there really isn't much a 9 month pregnant person can ride on, but we had fun anyways.
Just a few more from Downtown Disney. After we spent the morning playing and looking around, Cole and I went to see the 3-D showing of Toy Story 1 & 2. I was pleased that he sat for the entire 3.5 hours with the 3-D glasses on. We both really enjoyed seeing one of our favorites on the big screen.
A few weeks ago Cole and I drove down to meet Jonathan in Orlando for the weekend. We went to Downtown Disney on Friday while Jonathan worked and spent some time at the Lego store. As you can see the store was pretty much empty when we got there. I let Cole fill a bucket of Legos for us to take home. He was happier than a kid in a candy store.
Last month I took Cole to Build-a-Bear so he could make an stuffed animal for the baby. He immediatly picked a monkey and named him Monkey Guy. This was his first Build-a-Bear experience and he seemed to enjoy it. Once we got home I let him take the monkey out and put it in a special place for when the baby comes home. He of course got to play with the box, which as you can see, was a huge hit!
When Grandpa Bob was visiting a few weeks ago we took a drive up to Gander Mountain where they sell lots of tents. Cole has so much fun checking them all out.
For our A letter of the week we made an A alligator, an A with little fingerprint ants, did some tracing and cutting and an A apple counting worksheet.
The first picture was taken almost 8 weeks before I was due with Cole and the 2nd one about 8 weeks before I was due with Kiley. It's kind of cool to see how our family has changed in the last 3 years.
