Kiley's 4th Birthday {mmmmm…. cake}

For Kiley's Rainbow Party I made a rainbow cake.  It looks like just plain vanilla until you cut into it. Yum.

Here are a few details from Kiley's Rainbow Party.  Custom water labels that I printed up, a rainbow cracker tray, rainbow veggies and fruit kabobs.

Kiley's 4th Birthday...

We celebrated Kiley's 4th Birthday back in November with a fun Rainbow Party at the park with all her little friends.  

She was a riot opening presents this year.  I really wish I would have taken some video.  Everything she opened was "exactly what she always wanted".  

A Few More Birthday Pictures...

Just a few more birthday pictures to share from our awesome party. There's the food set up, pirates waiting to walk the plank and a couple of funny cousins.

Pirate Pinata...

No party for our kids is complete without a pinata! We had a heck of a time breaking open the pirate ship and Ali & ended up tearing it at the end. Cole helped Kiley on her second go around and they still couldn't get it open.

Kiley loved opening all of her gifts, especially those that had a princess theme.

Pirate Fun...

We had lots of fun pirate activities at the party. There was a treasure hunt around the park with maps I made up, a plank to walk (and jump into a ball pit) and last a big sand pit to dig for buried treasure.

Princess Cupcakes...

These are the princess cupcakes for the lovely Kiley. She still refers to the as her "pinkalicious" cupcakes.

Pirate Cupcakes...

A few weeks ago we had a Pirate & Princess Birthday Party to celebrate Cole's 5th and Kiley's 2nd birthday. It was a great party with fabulous weather and lots of friends and family. We had the party at the park that is less than a block from our new house. These were the pirate cupcakes for Cole.

Birthday Girl...

Two more cute ones from the party of the birthday princess.  I can't believe she's going to be 1 tomorrow.

Cake for Papa...

These might be my favorite pictures from the party.  Kiley loved sharing her cupcake with Papa.

More Cake...

Kiley was much more interested in her cupcake than Cole ever was on his first birthday.  She just dug right in and licked up all the icing.

Yum... Cake...

Instead of a traditional cake I made Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes for the kids and regular cupcakes for the adults.  I made Cole & Kiley use regular cupcakes for use with their candles because I was worried about how unsteady they ice cream cones would be with fire on top.
