Later Christmas day we went to Mimi & Papa's house to celebrate Christmas with my side of the family. We started off with the quickest family pictures I've ever taken.  Seriously, like 3 minutes… and 2 of that was setting up the tripod.  Then it was gifts and presents and fun!

We went to visit Santa the other day and the kids had fun telling him what was on their wish list this year.  Kiley is asking for a new blanket and Cole wants the Police Station Lego set.  We'll have to see if he delivers on Christmas day.

So our The Elf on the Shelf, Elfie, arrived the other day and he's been up to all sorts of elf shenanigans.  The kids are having a great time hunting him down in the morning to see what he's been up to.  I've been trying to remember to take a picture of him each night.

Last year Kiley was too young to really participate in the gingerbread shenanigans. But this Christmas Eve she was all about decorating and eating her own houses.

This is the second year we've had Will and Ali over to decorate gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve.  The porch at the new house was fantastic for setting everything up and it was just cool enough for us to have a fire in the outdoor fireplace.  The kids had a great time putting together a little village of gingerbread houses.
